DITL: First-Year BB Junior

Today I woke up at 7:09 A.M. and got dressed, then I went down stairs where Joshua and Hannah were reciting their stylishly long Senior passages.

I ate breakfast, which was leftover waffles from dinner on Sunday night, and did my chore, which today was unloading at least 30 dishes from our drying rack. Then I went out and rode my newly purchased bike around the yard for about 30 minutes before I decided to go inside and do some BB.

I read a book (I wasn't supposed to) after BB, then after 10 minutes Mom said to start memory and review. I reviewed my 50 plus passages and went to memorize outside; after about 1 hour Mom told me to come in because apparently I wasn’t memorizing.

I went upstairs to my room and recited for Jer for 45 minutes, and then I listened to him recite for another 45 minutes.

I went down and ate lunch, which today was PB&J sandwiches and potato chips, then I did my chore, which was packing up the lunch food and wiping the counters that were VERY messy.

After lunch, I went on a bike ride with Jer (in which eventful things happened) and I came in and sat around for 5 minutes and then Mom called us for memorization. I recited my passages which I was memorizing.

Next, I settled an argument about turtles at the pond where we go fishing, by showing my little brother Gabe a picture of his fabled “curve-nose turtle” (which is not real by the way).

Then I started to type my DITL ~ Hope you enjoy!

~ Daniel

So, you've studied Daniel 1-6, and learned all your cross-references, Hebrew and Aramaic words, and historical background, and you're wondering if you know enough.  The next thing to do is take a practice test to evaluate what you've studied well, and what you may need a little more practice on . . . . These tests are a different way to review your material from your typical review game or flashcards.  They are designed to simulate as much as possible the real test, to prepare you for different aspects like recall, comprehension, and the worst of them all . . . TIME LIMITS! Content I wrote these practice tests on the content and context of Daniel 1-6, including the following: Content of Daniel 1-6 Cross-references for Daniel 1-6 Historical background for people and places in Daniel 1-6 and the Book of Daniel Original language for Daniel 1-6 (Hebrew and Aramaic words and usages) Context for Daniel 1-6 (the other chapters of the Book of Daniel) All the above categories are re...
