I don't know about you, but I am excited to be diving into the Book of Ephesians this Bible Bee season! Sometimes it can be hard to find good resources, so I wanted to put together a list of study resources and books that have helped us immensely over the years.

Background Study and Maps
For some wonderful background information, check out The Bible Journey. We have used this many times over the years and have really enjoyed it! Read about historical background, view photos of the locations you are researching, and check out their maps.
Edited to add: We love the Drive Thru History series. Acts to Revelation is perfect for studying Ephesians. It is also currently streaming on Amazon.
A few years ago I purchased some large Bible wall maps. This set is similar and is a smaller size, making it a bit easier to find space to hang them.
Commentaries and Bible Study Notes
For an online commentary, check out these Study Notes from Dr. Constable. We have used these commentaries for many years. I like that he cites many different authors and books, which you can check out in the footnotes. These notes are great for Memory Passage study since he has notes on every book of the Bible!
I really like The Bible Knowledge Commentary because the entries are very concise and contain plenty of cross-references.
For more of a devotional-style commentary, check out these by Warren Wiersbe: Ephesians: Gaining the Things That Money Can't Buy and Ephesians: Be Rich.
Sermon Series
We thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the lessons from these Bible teachers!
Ephesians: You Are Rich, Dr. Andy Woods (audio and slides available)—Dr. Woods presents things in a very logical and ordered way. He doesn't skirt around the issues of today, and clearly speaks the truth from the Word.
Ephesians: The Wealth, Walk, and Warfare of the Believer, Dr. Robert Dean (audio, written transcript, and slides available)—We love the depth of Dr. Dean's teaching and have grown so much from listening to him over the years. This series is very long, so I suggest finding the sermons that are labeled with the letter A. These are meant to give a complete study of the book, while the other labels dive deep into specific topics and concepts.
You have an amazing opportunity this fall to learn more about God's character, His purposes for believers in the Church Age, and how to put your faith into practice. Make the most of it!
Blessings in your studies!
"See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. " -Ephesians 5:15-17
